This June, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Selfishly, I registered for this challenge as a motivator for myself. After many months of struggling through a TB-like lung infection, it is under control. Regaining some measure of fitness seems a big personal goal. However, it occurred to me that sharing this bike challenge would be one way of saying "thank you", to God, our family and our friends.
Biking gives time for reflection. Thinking of loved ones lost, of those still in the battle and of the potential wrapped up in the lives of many precious boys and girls, has given new motivation.
