This year is particularly meaningful for me as I just lost my mom to pancreatic cancer. If we can find a cure for childhood cancers, the knowledge, procedures and technology will spin off and hopefully help cure all cancers.

My Story

21 Mar 2024

Well I did it, I have again signed up for the 2024 Great Cycle Challenge and am riding this August to fight kids' cancer!

My goal is to pedal 500 km throughout the month.

But I am taking on this challenge for one reason... to kick cancer's butt!

Because cancer is the largest killer of children from disease in Canada - over 1,700 children are diagnosed every year, and 4 children die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

Ps, my mom just passed from an extremely aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. I know she is up there now, helping the little ones find their place in Heaven. Let’s find a cure and put her out of a job.
