My amazing nephew began his battle with cancer December of 2020, just before Christmas. Since then, he bravely fought through multiple bouts of chemo, emotional stress, and the uncertainty of where his life was headed. Amazingly, we received the fantastic news from Sick Kids hospital staff that his treatment was successful, and he was cancer free! These days Carter can be found playing hockey, working at the GAP, and just enjoying life to its fullest, and all of his family and friends couldn't be more grateful.

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
