My Story

In August, I will be taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer and support SickKids Foundation. This challenge is my tribute to my daughter Flavie. On January 24th 2022, was the 9th anniversary of Flavie's passing, 9 years since she took her last breath. The feelings of emptiness, loss and of the emotional chaos related to her passing caused a deep scar that will forever need caring. Her determination, her love of life and my promise to continue moving forward motivate me to live life to the fullest despite the pain and the loss. Flavie was such a trooper in her battle to win this fight. Although she was thinned, frail and weak, she never gave up and wanted to try every treatment available to her, no matter how much effort and energy it would ask of her. We supported her every step of the way in her desire to fight this beast.
