Hello! My name is Darren, I'm a Canadian currently living and working in Wanāka New Zealand.

Attempting this challenge in New Zealand means I will be doing it mid winter. Although there will be no snow on the valley floor, it will be cold wet and dark early. So that means lots of night rides and rain gear :).

I have never done anything like this before, but very exciting to try my best and I can't think of a better reason.
