When I joined the GCC, I joined for Jake. I am so grateful that he is doing well now but there are kids out there that are not as fortunate, so I will continue to ride for all those children still fighting.
My Story
One Month. One Goal. Fight Kids Cancer.
Because kids should be living life, NOT fighting for it.
When I first joined the Great Cycle Challenge in 2020 I did it for Jake, we had just learned of his diagnosis and because of the pandemic there was very little we could do to help from provinces away. This challenge was something, raising awareness and asking for donations to support Sick Kids Foundation as they search for treatments and a cure for childhood cancer.
This is my third year riding in the Great Cycle Challenge, this year’s goals are $2500 and 300km, if you want to support this great cause consider making a donation or joining me on a ride this summer!
