To My Many Great Cycle Challenge Supporters,

Now that the ride is over, I'd like to thank you all again for your generous donations. I ended up in the top 4 fundraisers in all of Canada for my age group 76+ Not too bad for an old guy of 80. Hoping to ride many more years.

The number of Kilometers I covered this year is the lowest ever but all done in the spirit of helping sick kids with cancer. Hopefully next year Maggie will be recovered from her cancer and I'll be able to get out for more rides in support of this great cause. In a way, I'll be riding in support of advancements in the treatment of all cancers.

Again, a HUGE thank you on behalf of all the kids at Sick Kids.

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

I will be away for a week in August at a cottage with my grandchildren so I might not ride as far this year. I'll try my best.
