Four years ago my dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer - we are so thankful his treatments went well and he is doing good!! I can appreciate how scary it can be, and I can't even imagine what it must be like to walk that road as a child, or as a parent to a child fighting cancer.

This August, my 7 year-old daughter Stella and I will be riding together in support of SickKids. We will be training leading up to the big kick-off, raising funds and awareness for this important cause to continue the fight against kids' cancer.

Right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
