In memory of Janette

Janette was one of my dear childhood friends that lost her battle with cancer when we were just teenagers . This past September marked 31 years since she left us. She will always be in our hearts, and her legacy lives on. I ride in hopes that donations lead to advancements that effectuate a decrease in suffering and in mortality rates.

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. We are joining forces to ride through August in hopes to raise a little bit of awareness and a little bit of funds for our vulnerable little friends.

Follow along with us!! Get out your own bikes, even join us for a ride if you would like!!

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
