Last year I couldn't really participate - riding with a catheter wasn't practical. So this August I am happy to be able to join in the Great Canadian Cycle Challenge again

I am riding in memory for Oscar, my friend Dave's nephew. Sadly, Oscar passed away after a courageous 18 month battle.. And for all children and their families dealing with cancer. I am also riding to honour the memory of my sister-in-law who died from cancer last year.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
