And we've ridden 2,217,000 km and raised $6,980,115 so far to end childhood cancer and save little lives.

But we're not done yet. 😊

💡Let’s enjoy this challenge as a great opportunity to include a healthy lifestyle in our daily routines. Maybe you’ll discover an amazing new Hobby! 🚴

💡Set a realistic riding target for yourself so you will enjoy the journey, but make sure that is challenging enough to make it exciting ⚡

💡Plan for success, track your progress and set milestones as 20K, 50K and use Milestones resources available on the website to celebrate each of them in social media (or any preferred media)

💡Stay informed, read “About the Challenge”, About “SickKids Foundation” and spread the word! You all have the power to share an amazing message!

💡Create small “riding groups” and go for a fun activity! I know how busy you are, but you can plan with family members, or friends with similar schedules anytime, anywhere you like 🚵🚴🚴‍♀️🚵‍♀️

Kick Cancer's Butt Day is Wednesday! MATCHING DONATIONS

KICK CANCER'S BUTT DAY INFO

Wednesday (August 14) is Kick Cancer's Butt Day!

And our wonderful supporters, the Garron Family, will be MATCHING all donations received today (up to $1,300,000) to encourage EVERYONE across the country to Kick Cancer's Butt!

That means ANY online donation YOU receive on Kick Cancer's Butt Day will qualify and the matching donation will be added to your online fundraising page within 24 hours. You can even sponsor yourself. :)

Here's the key facts you need to be aware of for Kick Cancer's Butt Day:

Any online donation you receive from 12:00 a.m. Wednesday morning to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday night on August 14 will be matched by the Garron Family (up to $1,300,000). We're covering all CAN time zones so no one misses out.

We can only match donations received on Wednesday through your online fundraising page, so if you enter offline donations through your dashboard, these will also need to be paid in on Wednesday to be eligible for the matching. Unfortunately, check donations cannot be included in the match, as they cannot be received and processed in the match window.

If we do raise more than the $1,300,000 pledge this Wednesday (fingers crossed), we'll allocate the donations equally among riders (based on the % total that you raised), to make sure it's fair for everyone. We'll add the donation to your page within 1 business day, and we will email you to confirm your match once it has been added to your fundraising total.

Any match donation amount you receive will also count towards our incentives like the FREE GCC jersey and / or GCC Hero Jersey and / or GCC All-Star jersey!

Thanks for joining us in this brave battle against children’s Cancer across Canada.

Our strong team is composed by 21 amazing members so far and I’ve decided to set our riding goal as team, in order to ensure success and according to our individual goals. However to make this journey an exciting and challenging experience, I’ve added 50km more, to encourage us to keep growing as team and aiming to challenge ourselves to do our best!!!

The BHP team is joining the Great Cycle Challenge 2024!

As we “Do what’s right, we “Seek better ways” and we want to “Make a difference”!... This August, our BHP team is proud to take part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So we are raising funds through our challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
