On February 17th 2018 a young girl by the name of Rebecca Schofield ended her battle with brain cancer at the young age of 18 years old. She has left an amazing legacy behind her that has forever inspired me to spread more joy in as many ways I can. I continue this year with The Great Cycle Challenge and will be dedicating my participation in honour of the Rebecca Schofield movement of #beccatoldmeto and encouraging others to continue spreading acts of kindness. Each and every kilometre I ride this year is for the children living with and who have lost their lives to cancer. The more awareness we raise the closer we will be to a life without the flight.

I am riding in memory of Rebecca Schofield who I met in 2017. Her message about acts of kindness has forever inspired me to continue to pay it forward and make the world a better place because #beccatoldmeto.
