We’re deeply grateful for all the support we’ve received over the years. Our journey with the Great Cycle Challenge began in 2020, driven by a mission to fight kids’ cancer. Just one month later, our world changed forever—our sweet niece Alexia was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of liver cancer, at only six months old. The news shattered us. Alexia has shown incredible strength and resilience through nearly two years of treatment and has now been in remission for 45 months. While the risk of recurrence is always present, we remain hopeful and inspired by her courage every single day. This August, we’re riding in the Great Cycle Challenge Canada once again—to fund critical research, develop better treatments, and bring us closer to a cure. No child should have to fight for their life. Alexia and so many others deserve the chance to just be kids. My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
