My Story
Last year, with so much encouragement from family and friends, I reached my goal in the Great Cycle Challenge. This August, we’re doing it again as a family, and that makes it even more special.
Even though Alix and Zuriel will be riding where they are, and Trevor and I will be riding here, it’s something we can still do together. We’re excited to be part of something so positive that helps children and families facing childhood cancer.
We’ve all been gearing up over the past month, getting in our rides and preparing for the challenge. I’ve been riding 10 km each time this past week, and I’m feeling confident that I’ll not only reach my 100 km goal but go beyond it!
As a parent, educator, and grandma, it’s hard to imagine what families go through when a child is battling cancer. No child should have to face that journey.
Sadly, more Canadian children lose their lives to cancer than any other disease. That’s why we’re riding to raise funds for SickKids Foundation, supporting research that gives children and their families hope for brighter tomorrows.
If you’re able, I would be so grateful if you would consider supporting our ride with a donation. Every dollar, no matter the amount, makes a difference and brings us one step closer to a future where no child has to fight cancer.
Thank you for cheering our family on once again. Your encouragement and support truly mean the world to us. ❤️

I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
