I'm Riding For

It hurts me to add more names this year to the list of who I am riding for. Unfortunately every year more and more names get added to the list of people who are fighting or who have lost the fight to cancer. I am grateful to be here and be able to share my energy and love of my friends and family who cannot ride this year. I will ride for them. And raise money for kids who are suffering. When my Mom was sick at the Cancer Clinic, she said she would never complain because she saw the little kids who were sick and going through the same difficult treatments she was going thru. She wanted to help the kids and take some of their pain away. I wish I could have helped her and I ride now with her in mind. I lost a sweet friend a few months ago to cancer. I ride with Monique in mind. I also have friends who are newly diagnosed and are fighting hard. I will ride hard with them in mind. Trevor and Gary. The money raised in this Great Cycle Challenge is for the kids, but we ride in honour of all our friends and family who are facing a cancer diagnosis.
