Cancer has directly affected and impacted so many of my family members and close friends. Although cancer has claimed many of them, they stayed strong through each battle. I want to rise to this challenge like they fought/ are fighting cancer. Help me win the fight!

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

My Challenge

    Knee felt weird today- kind of numb. Praying when kneeling during yoga helped, but still tight for 1st 6km of bike ride and at end. The bonus- I pushed harder than I have yet this summer on speed- 16.9km/hour, hr at 146. So will keep some shorter rides just for cardio push!

    Even though my knee is getting better 10km was too much today and caused my knee to stiffen back up. Now it’s swollen. So I’ll have to finish my ride goal through into September. I can’t risk my recovery.
