Ray Jamieson and Laurie Gray

I’m riding in honour of several family and friends this year who have passed from cancer or who still struggle with it. My cousin Laurie Gray died this spring after battling leukemia for 2 years. My father died due to lung cancer at age 59.

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! This is my eighth year participating!

Why? Because right now, many Canadian children are diagnosed with some form of cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Childdren should be living life, and not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through this challenge to help these children and support the SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
