Wade
Wade was diagnosed with a brain tumour in May 2016, just days before his 2nd birthday. For 10 years, this incredible superhero has faced two major surgeries, hundreds of needles, countless treatments and rounds of chemotherapy with extraordinary courage. Now 12, Wade is facing another chapter in his journey. After 22 months of treatment, his tumour has started to grow again and another surgery lies ahead. Through it all, Wade continues to show us what strength, courage and hope look like. Ten years later, he’s still our superhero—and we’re still determined to Kick Cancer’s Butt! 💛 Support my ride - the funds supported go directly to the research programs.
My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
