My Story

25 May 2026

Ryker had a brain tumour when he was only 15 months old. The tumour was removed and he began 6 rounds of chemotherapy and received his own stem cells to increase his success while at SickKids in Toronto. He is young enough that he won’t remember his 9 months at SickKids but was a major event in his life. I feel it’s important that Ryker embraces that part of his life once he gets older and recognizes the need to support finding a cure and helping others.
