My Story? My little son, Sam was a mere 5 years old, when what was a bad enough situation of a broken back, turned out to be tumors in his bones, making them brittle, and weakened. The treatment was a year of Chemotherapy. So many tests, procedures, surgeries.

The time that has passed since has changed all of us in ways one cannot anticipate until faced with these challenges. Along the way we had help. Lots of help from friends, family, and various organizations. Help that we would like to pay forward.

Sam is in remission, currently. So many of the kids we met on this journey haven't had as great of news. Our journey may take another turn, with recurrence rates for Sam's affliction incredibly high.
