My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Having worked in Laboratory Medicine I have seen many diagnoses and treatments of patients.

I wanted to let you know that the cash donations have come from people who have given me money for things I did for them. Like the lady who paid me $50 for making her washcloths-see pic. Or the lady who gave me some money to knit her grandson scarves for his CAF winter dress uniform. Thank you to these people who help my journey for this great cause.

Another 8km done in a 20 min spin. Felt good today. Yesterday I did two 15 min ones. Today I did the 20min without stopping. Stamina is increasing. Loving what I am doing for the SickKids cancer fight. They are fighting harder than I am-even though I think that way sometimes!! ❤️❤️🚲🚴
