Then by coincidence, when I added in the distance, I saw that I have 69 km left to ride to meet my 400 km ride goal. It jumped out at me that there was an accidental meaning! I know my fellow riders who live not far from you are finding the air too full of wildfire smoke to cycle safely. Lots of smoke here in July but clear lately. Fingers crossed for everyone! I hit 122 km of riding this morning so that bodes well for reaching my 375 km goal by the end of August. xoxoxox”

  “Thank you yet again for your support Chris. I had a happy coincidence just yesterday. I saw the young girl who first inspired me to try this ride in 2018. She and her mom were regulars at my library program when she was diagnosed with cancer. Treatment was a hard go but she is now cancer free after 5 years and enjoying her life - almost a teen-ager now! My hope is that there will be this kind of success for more kids and aduts too from treatments improved by research. In memory of all those we have lost, thank you.”
