My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

5th Day in a row
6 Aug 2026I've clocked 198 km in 5 days so I'm well on my way to my 400 km . Alfie has been loving it too. He's such a trooper! I hope it doesn't rain for the next 5 days that they are calling for! It's been really nice to see all the farmers getting off their wheat. It's so beautiful around here this time of year. When you're riding a bike you see so much more than driving. I'm loving it!

Day 1 of GCC Challenge and Alfie and I rode 36.3 km this beautiful morning!
1 Aug 2026What a perfect day for the first ride for GCC. The weather was good with no wind and overcast. I'm so happy to get that first ride under my belt. I also got an email that my GCC shirt is on its way and should be here on Wed. Alfie slept most of the ride.. 😂
