My sister Val and many others who have struggled with this disease

Too many of us have lost family, friends, neighbors and loved ones to cancer. The number of those we have lost keeps climbing. We weren’t ready for those losses - none of us ever are. Let’s all help the wee ones who continue the battle while honouring our own loved ones.

My Story

I am signing up early for this challenge for the seventh year, because I believe in the cause very much, and because we have so much fun participating, as a family team!

This August, we are riding to end childhood cancer and save little lives! Every hill we climb and every kilometre we pedal will be to honor those lives we’ve lost and stand with those brave kids still fighting to survive. Those kids won’t give up and neither will we.

Our goal is to fund life-saving research to develop safer and more effective treatments and find cures for all childhood cancers.

We are raising funds to help these kids and to support SickKids Foundation to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
