Cancer came too quickly and too soon. We did not have much time to say goodbye. But our memories of you live on and will keep you in our hearts.

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

I've done this for a few years to celebrate the people who fought the good fight. 2023 was extra special as that year I lost my brother. This year, I am sad to add two friends to the number of people who succumbed to cancer, Elizabeth and Bev. I celebrate them with every ride that I do. I have had my own journey with cancer. I also ride for all who have travelled this road in different ways, as cancer fighter, survivor and supporter.

Over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year. It's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada. It's tough for anyone to have to battle cancer but when you are a kid who should be living life, well, it really sucks!

Please support the SickKids Foundation with a donation so they may continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
