My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

(No child should endure this trauma)

I am ridding for my mom Margaret. She has lost the fight with stage 4 liver cancer September 11, 2020. She suffered the loss 4 children and a husband before her battle ended. She was my friend and we often would chat while ridding. Cancer does not take a day off, I will ride the 500km in August 2026.

I am also riding in memory of our family members, Maitland Harder, Lloyd Woodcock, Michael McEwen, Chris McEwen, Theresa Sullivan and Joey McEwen. Cancer affects everyone. I am riding Joey's bike and will take them with me every push of the pedal. CANCER IS CRUEL Thanks so much for your support................................... Jackie
