I'm Riding For
Eric
![Eric](https://stgccwebcaprd.blob.core.windows.net/gcc-web-ca/images/riders/riding-for/2029m.jpg)
Eric was one of my "boys". I coached him in hockey and against him in hockey and baseball for many, many years. He was that kid who every coach wanted on their team - always smiling and happy, easily coachable and he had great parents. They were the last family you would expect something so horrible to happen to. Just after his 18th birthday, Eric was diagnosed with cancer. Things got worse when that diagnosis was listed as terminal. In typical Eric fashion, he didn't let that stop him. He learned to surf in Santa Cruz, kept playing rep baseball and took up golf. He travelled whenever he could. It's not right that Eric died at only 24 years old. Our kids deserve better. And that's why I ride and raise funds for this cause. Rest in peace, Eric, and I'll do my bit to help other families not live through what yours has. Show your support. Add some money to the cause. Get on your bike.
My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
