Emma Warecki

Emma, the beautiful daughter of John and Patricia Warecki, passed away in 2004 at the age of sixteen months after a courageous battle with cancer.

My Story

This August, I will be riding 1,600 kilometres as part of the Great Cycle Challenge. Every kilometre I ride will help raise funds for children and families affected by childhood cancer.

As an avid cyclist, I know that the challenges I face on the road are insignificant compared to the battles that children with cancer fight every day. These young patients endure countless treatments, hospital visits, and uncertainty, yet they continue to show remarkable courage and strength.

My goal is not only to complete 1,600 kilometres during the month of August but also to raise awareness and much-needed funds to support research, treatments, and programs that help children and their families. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference and brings us one step closer to ending childhood cancer.

I am grateful for the support of my family and friends as I embark on this journey. Together, we can help give children facing cancer the opportunity to live healthier, happier lives. Thank you for supporting my ride and helping make a lasting impact.
