This fundraiser is close to my heart because Julian wanted to raise money for kids cancer research, but he is no longer with us. Julian passed away in Dec 2021 at the age of 15. We had known Julian since kindergarten and he and my son were close friends. This is for you Julian! You will always be in our hearts and minds. Xox

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

This is a personal challenge for me because a dear family friend, Julian Ho passed away in Dec 2021 after fighting leukaemia for two years.

Right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

So I am raising funds through this challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
