Last year we tragically lost our son in law to cancer. It prompted both of us to have a physical; and while mine turned out okay, Ben's did not.

I made so many jokes when he had to have a colonoscopy.

The jokes quickly stopped.

We were lucky. We caught his rectal cancer in stage 2/3. Fully stage 3 would have been a lot harder to deal with.

We've had a tough year but the bulk of the battle is behind us. We've found a new home in Edmonton and we couldn't be more grateful to ride this year.

I want to thank you all for your support this year. It's an extra special ride for us this August. If we can help these kids feel even a little bit stronger, it’s all worth it ❤️
