I've been riding—or paddling, on the first day—each day so far in August, as part of the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer. It's going great, even though I haven't logged a really long ride on any single day, yet.

So join me, either on your own bike or spin cycle, or if you haven't yet, consider sponsoring a rider. All funds raised through our challenge goes to help these kids. We'll be supporting SickKids Foundation's work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Don't forget that over 1,400 children get a cancer diagnosis every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
