This is my second year taking on The Great Cycle Challenge — riding 500km to raise $500 in the fight against childhood cancer. This year, my kids are riding with me, either by my side or in tow, so they can learn the value of hard work, fundraising, and giving back.

I lost my dad to cancer four years ago, and I can’t imagine facing that battle with one of my children. That’s why this cause is so close to my heart — no family should have to watch their child go through it. Every kilometre we ride is for those kids, their families, and the hope for a future free from cancer.
