As a lot of you know, 7 years ago I embarked on a wonderful adventure inspired by Jacob Simmons (a former player who was tragically struck by an impaired driver).

Jake was an inspiration to many through his amazing story of self improvement and running. There was a post he wrote which resonated with me "I now run in honour of my lost ones and those who no longer have the ability to do so themselves. In 2020, I challenged you to find something you are passionate about or something that's bigger than you and get out there and make a difference." #FightTheGoodFight which inspired me to take part in the great Cycle Challenge.

I was awestruck by the support from everyone during my journey to help raise awareness and funds for The Sick Kids Foundation. I am accepting Jake's challenge once again and raising my goals for distance and money raised to challlenge myself along with making a difference! RIP Jake! May your spirit live on!
