Cancer took my grandmother from us, but it never took the love she gave. Watching her endure the pain, the treatments, and the countless difficult days left a mark on my heart that words can hardly express. The loneliness, helplessness, and grief our family experienced are memories I carry with me every day. In her honor, I’ve chosen to turn that pain into purpose. I’m raising funds to help children battling cancer, hoping to ease even a small part of their journey. Every donation is more than financial support—it is a message of hope, love, and the reminder that no child should face cancer alone. Together, we can transform loss into compassion and give these brave young fighters a reason to keep smiling.
My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Tribute Day
25 Jul 2026Today, on Tribute Day, We stand with every child bravely fighting cancer.
Cancer took someone I deeply loved—my grandmother. I witnessed the pain, the uncertainty, and the heartbreak it brought to our family. That experience is one of the reasons my son and I chose to cycle 150 km to support children facing this disease.
To every child in the fight: you are not alone. You are surrounded by people who believe in you, pray for you, and are cheering you on every step of the way. Your courage inspires us to keep going and to keep making a difference.
Today, we honor your strength, remember those we’ve lost, and commit ourselves to bringing hope to every family affected by childhood cancer.
You are stronger than cancer. You are loved. You are never alone.

Standing with Children Fighting Cancer

Every week, families across Canada hear the heartbreaking words that no parent ever wants to hear—their child has cancer. Behind every diagnosis is a young life filled with dreams, a family holding onto hope, and a battle no child should have to fight.
