  “This past week, I took on a venture to restore a vintage bicycle. This was my way of helping a generous individual who, a year ago, sold me a pair of SPD pedals at a substantial, much-needed discount because they were out of my price range. I absolutely love them and currently use them on my stationary bike. It provides a straight riding posture that has been essential for my recovery following a severe, painful fall this past July 1st.The restoration required custom parts and plenty of creativity, but I successfully made the vintage bike functional. To my surprise, I was rewarded with $100 for my efforts. This was an awesome outcome because I originally wanted my work to repay the difference for the discounted pedals. Since I had already decided that any money received from him would be a donation, the entire $100 is going directly to the SickKids Foundation.”

  “The wellbeing of the beautiful little people is partly in our hands. My heart is with each one of them. I cannot imagine being a kid who happens to know he/she may not make it. Our contributors, the archangels and us, angels ride to make this endeavor favorable. Thank you "all" for participating in this wonderfully engineered GCCC event, bringing rewards to the hearts of so many. Be safe, be mindful and be strong. My perspective different while hospitalized. I have seen little kids and adults in great pain. Some awaiting hospice or a spiritual leader. I am gere as a result of an infection June 12, followed my bicycle accident of July 1st with limited mobility. I will put all my energy into getting well again, this a passage of my life. One I could have never imagined. Whilst all looked so simple, methods took all this to another level. I keep my faith and pray to God that my new normal will allow me to ride full strength and healthy.”
