My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

    The last ride certainly went by day dreaming. Perhaps I should have paid more attention....

    Lesson of the day is don't trust the equipment blindly. This was MOST CERTAINLY a faulty bike ride. I have yet to build a stamina to complete 30km in 50 minutes. Did not realize there was the technical glitch until after I got home. I am going to keep this blog, delete my scores and complete the rest. It's not so much for the challenge, it's simply for the promise that I made to myself.

    And the most wonderful thing about this unfortunate event is that...yet somehow, after deleting my last "31km", the value increased per km than the set goal.
