This August, I’m participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to raise funds for the SickKids Foundation and help fight kids' cancer!

I’m going to ride 1 km for every dollar I raise, with a goal of raising 500$ and riding 500 km. If I surpass my fundraising goal, I’ll still ride 1 km for every additional 5$ raised… my legs will need a break ;)

Why am I participating? Because as a cancer researcher myself, I know firsthand the importance that funding can have on developping treatments and improving care. Childhood cancer is a tragic reality that persists to this day, and 1700 children are diagnosed with cancer each year in Canada. This challenge allows me to combine my passion for fitness with the opportunity to support a cause that is near and dear to my heart.
