This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Many years ago I had clients who were a wonderful young couple buying their first home together. They bought a home, got married, and started a beautiful family. One of their children was struck with this terrible disease. I followed their painstakingly long journey to its victorious end. I thought about them so very often while their little angel was fighting and so often since baby made a recovery. I can’t imagine, as a parent, the agony of watching your child go through cancer treatment. The unmeasurable helplessness every parent must feel, waiting, praying, hoping. If I can contribute to helping these perfect little people then I’m in. I am pledging to ride 300 km in August and asking for my FB and Instagram friends to help me surpass my goal of $1500.00 and I will surpass my 300km goal! I have started our donation fund with $100.00 Let’s do this!!

Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
