My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

This will be my third year taking part in this amazing challenge. Every year I have challenged my self to do something big. Last year, at the end of August, I challenge myself to cycle from Waterloo to The Pinery (Grand Bend), 140 km one way. In three days I did over 300km. It was hard work, but extremely rewarding.

This Year, during the last week of August, We have planned something even BIGGER and more challenging. I will be travelling over 600km, in 8 days. More details to come.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve. Everyone who donates $200 or more, will receive a frame photo, I have taken on my cycling adventures. (the bigger the donation, the larger the framed photo)

As a thank you to everyone who donates $50.00 or more, I will be hosting a BBQ on Sat Sept 16. I will also be handing out awards (framed photo's) for those who donate $200.00 or more

BIG TRIP - Day 7

This was a tougher ride. 121 Km in rain and wind. The last part the wind pushed me there 😀. Stopped in Port Bruce for fries, but they weren’t open. Got to camp and had a nap. The rain and wind took a bit out of me. Last day tomorrow, homeward bound.
