This August, I'm participating in the Great Cycle Challenge for the 6th year in a row to fight kids' cancer.

With deep sadness, I am completing this challenge in memory of Juan Felipe, a Colombian child who lost his battle with cancer in the third week of August.

Why? Every year, over 1,700 children in Canada are diagnosed with cancer, the leading cause of death from disease among Canadian children. I'm riding to make a difference in their lives and offer crucial support. My ride is also dedicated to my stepmother, Chela, as she begins her own cancer journey, and in loving memory of my friend and brother-in-law, Cesar Hugo Teheran, who we lost to this disease
