A decade of riding, a decade of fundraising, a decade worth celebrating! For ten whole years I've been busting my hump every summer to bike as far as I can, as fast as I can, all in the name of fighting children's cancer.

As most of you know, it's personal for me. In late 2023 I was diagnosed with neuroendocrine carcinoma, a rare form of breast cancer. It SUCKED. I had to fight like hell to get through. And yet, here I am! Ready to do everything I can to compete this year, even if my body is not quite as capable as it once was.

After all I went through, I am that much more driven to do what small things I can to make a difference for children who go through the same scary situation. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, let alone a small child. I cannot imagine the pain and the fear that their parents) go through, helplessly watching a little warrior fight.

Over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
