My Story

On my 7th year participating in this challenge. I have to admit, as much as it is helping our kids with cancer, it is helping me also. This is such a great cause, it pushes me to go out of my comfort zone and push my body to bike when I would normally find excuses not to go. Thank you Great Cycle Challenge

I use Facebook only to promote for donation, the rest is word of mouth. I have great friends who are generous even in these challenging times. They are the reason I go out to accomplish my goal. I d. Not want to disappoint them.

I am taking on this challenge for one reason... to kick cancer's butt!

Because cancer is the largest killer of children from disease in Canada - over 1,400 children are diagnosed every year, and 4 children die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I'll be riding to give cancer a good old-fashioned butt-kicking and give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
