Not feeling like I have the energy to do it again this year but one look at those sick kids and I changed my mind and signed up for my 5th year . This August-Great Cycle Challenge 2024, I will be riding to fight kids' cancer!

I will find a way to do 300 km while holding a full time job and taking care of my mom who has dementia. It's minimal compare to what those kids have to go through.

I am taking on this challenge for one reason... to kick cancer's butt!

Because cancer is the largest killer of children from disease in Canada - over 1,400 children are diagnosed every year, and 4 children die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I'll be riding to give cancer a good old-fashioned butt-kicking and give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
