My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Rapids - Rail Trail

Super pumped got in a second ride over the weekend. Went 13km towards Kinmount on the rail trail. Also detoured to see the rapids, one of my favourite views up at the cottage. It feels so good to get back on my bike for more rides! Definitely starting to get back into cycling shape!

Burnt River - Rail Trail

Ava and I rode 16km along the Victoria Rail Trail. It was a great ride, nice and flat which I appreciate even more now that I’v got my little buddy in tow. Bugs found us near the end which made it a good time to wrap it up and head in.

Ajax Waterfront Trail

Rode 13.5km today with Ava. We started by the power plant and got well into Ajax taking the waterfront trail. There was a nice breeze off the lake which was much needed!

Despite the heat wave Ava and I rode just under 13km today. Took the waterfront trail from Rosebank to Scarborough. Ava stayed cool with the breeze and a cool towel to play with!
