My 3rd Annual Ride in memory of the best friend a girl could ever have who has been watching over me from above since childhood.
My Story
This August will be my 3rd Annual ride in memory of my bestie “Darlene Devine”. It is an honour to be a small part of a group of riders across Canada who are participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? In Grade 6 I lost my best friend, Darlene Marie Devine, to childhood cancer. Darlene died as the result of a brain tumor. I will be riding in memory of her. Not a day goes by that I don't wonder what life would have been like if she were still here. We've come a long way since the 70's but we still have a way to go in cancer research. Please help us help children just like Darlene. Let's work together to raise the much needed funds to kick Childhood Cancer's Butt!
