I'm Riding For

Stan Salsman

My father was a cancer survivor for over 30 years. During those years he started riding for GCC. As he was experiencing the impacts of cancer himself, he could not bear to think about all the children who have to go through what he was going through. He continued riding up until this last year. He passed away on October 8, 2025 and I will continue to ride in his memory for the benefit of children with cancer. I love you, dad!

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
