My Story

12 Aug 2025

This August, I am once again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! The impact of this terrible disease is felt by many, and is hitting close to home as a little girl named Kat, who lives in my community, is battling Retinoblastoma, a cancer of the eye. She is 3.

Over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

I am riding in tribute to so many impacted by cancer, and in loving memory of my Dad. I am raising funds through my challenge to support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancers, and making lives better for little ones like Kat.
