My Story

This August, my husband and i are taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So we are raising funds through our challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support us by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

My Facebook memory from a few years ago had pictures of me with my GCC jersey at the Grande-Digue Pioneer Museum. So that memory determined my route today.

Took a little detour from the standard Grande-Digue loop and went to the Cocagne Bridge and stop at the beach ⛱️ at the bridge and found some sea glass.

It was a hot day, but the natural breeze as you bike made it pleasant. Passed another GCC cyclest 🚲 in the area for a wedding from Montreal. He reached out to me for suggestions for routes in the area.

Passed a painted rock which must be new, as I have biked the Grande-Digue loop often and never saw this rock.
