This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

This will be my third summer with the Mighty Pink Bike, and I've noticed that August is when I peak and start going for 10, 20, 30K rides just for fun. This summer I'm feeling especially strong and have been learning to love climbing hills and going for longer distances.

If you're here, I don't need to tell you about how the Mighty Pink Bike has changed my life. My mantra is Get On the Effing Bike - especially when I don't feel like it, a ride will smash my anxiety. Back in April I sent my goal to 200K and $500, but I've changed my plan.

I will ride 1 kilometer for every dollar you donate! It's a challenge but I'm physically and mentally ready. I have fun plans this August and I look forward to Getting on the Effing Bike and sharing my rides with you:

COUSIN: 50K

Vicki: 25 (flat) kilometers, with a stop for ice cream

Peperkorn Fam: 50K (although all the kilometers are for them)

Judy: 26K

Andrew: 36K of adventures!

Andy: 207K of crushing it, with mandatory stop for beer
