This August, I am challenging myself to ride 200 km as part of the Great Cycle Challenge to raise funds for the SickKids Foundation.

I'm riding in honour of my nephew, Greyson, whose courage during his cancer treatment and the incredible strength of his Mom, Dad and sister have been a constant source of inspiration. This ride is a celebration of his recovery and the hope they continue to share.

I am also riding in memory of my dad, who passed away from cancer. His strength and resilience continue to live on in me every day.

Every pedal stroke is dedicated to those who face life's toughest challenges with courage and hope. If this ride pushes me beyond my comfort zone, it will remind me of the strength that Grayson, my dad, and countless other families have shown in the face of challenges far greater than a bike ride.
