I'm Riding For
Alicia
The sweetest, nicest, funniest, most authentic friend. Miss you so so so much. I think about you when I am itching to tell someone something, which is...always HAHAHA. I know you would always meet me where I need to be met. Love you always, sister <3
My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
This is all very personal to me as well. My family and my friends' families have been directly affected by cancer. I am riding for them and kids all over the world. Cancer research is something I am truly passionate about, and this passion is reflected in both my professional and personal endeavours. I am doing this in honour of my family, Uncle Emman and Auntie Amor, and my friends Alicia and Mackenzie, who lost their lives battling cancer so bravely. I witnessed how our families were deeply affected by their challenging journeys and movements, like the Great Cycle Challenge, are so important in hopes of finding a treatment against cancer so that these kids to live their lives to the fullest. These initiatives not only raise critical funds for research but also bring communities together in solidarity, offering hope, support, and a sense of purpose in the fight against this devastating disease.
So, I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please consider donating to give these kids brighter futures they deserve, and help me support cancer research by raising awareness.
Your support will have such a great impact on countless little children's lives and their families.
Thank you.
